An Introduction, and How to Submit Your Demo
An Introduction, and How to Submit Your Demo
Thanks for your interest in BLEND Voice! Think you have what it takes to be a BLENDer, one of our contracted voice actors? Send us your demo reel! We’re always looking for fresh, new sounds and in-demand languages!
We receive dozens of demos each week from voice-over talent who want to join our roster. Generally, we only work with established voice-over artists – talent with a professional demo reel and some experience. Your ongoing availability to record is essential to our clients. Established voice actors make it easier to make these assurances.
Our talent team meets periodically to review promising demos and identify voice talent who are a good fit. If we think you have a marketable sound that can be packaged in diverse applications, a particular language expertise, or that undefinable something that fills a gap in our roster, we’ll follow up to schedule a formal audition. Unfortunately, we’re not able to respond to every demo submission.
The Audition Process
The Audition Process
BLEND Voice operates from a voice production facility including world-class recording studios, isolation booths, and editing suites. While we enjoy working with many local voice actors live in our studios, most of our talent record with us remotely through SourceConnect. We’ll need to ensure that your recording environment is up to standard, whether you record from home or a partner studio across the globe.
On a live or (more likely) remote audition, we’ll put you through the paces of a typical recording session at BLEND Voice. We’ll see how you vary your delivery to fit specific scripts, how well you take direction, and get a sense of your pacing and accuracy. If all goes well, we’ll work with you on the business particulars needed to bring your voice to our customers!

Resources for Aspiring Voice Actors
Voice acting is an exciting profession and one worth pursuing. All the greats started somewhere, most of them with a vocal coach or some formal training. A coach will be able to bring out your potential, offer the necessary guidance, and help determine when you’re ready to produce a demo. We recommend local, in-person coaching if available. If not, there are many online resources. Hopefully, we can hear your voice sometime soon!
